These Text Messaging Terms describe the SMS text-message program offered by My Home Circumcision ("My Home Circumcision," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply when you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts from us. They work alongside our Privacy Policy, our Notice of Privacy Practices, and our Terms of Service.

1. About our text messages

My Home Circumcision offers SMS text messaging so we can support families before and after care. When you give us your mobile number and agree to be texted, we may send you messages related to your inquiry, consultation, and appointments — for example:

These are transactional, care-related messages sent one-to-one. We do not use this number to send marketing blasts, and we do not text people who have not asked to hear from us.

We only text people who ask us to. You opt in by entering your mobile number and checking the consent box on one of our forms (for example, our "Have a question?" message form or our intake and consultation forms), or by giving us verbal or written permission to text you.

Providing your consent to receive texts is not a condition of receiving care or purchasing any service. You can decline texting and still work with us by phone, email, or your secure patient portal.

3. Message frequency

This is a recurring messaging program, and message frequency varies based on your appointments and where you are in the care process. You will generally only receive messages that relate to your own inquiry, visit, or portal activity.

4. Message & data rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. My Home Circumcision does not charge you for text messages, but your carrier's standard rates still apply.

5. These texts are not secure and not for emergencies

Standard text messages are not a secure or private channel, so we keep anything private or medical inside your secure patient portal, not over SMS. Please don't send medical details, photos, or sensitive information by text.

Text messaging is never monitored for emergencies. If you're experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. For urgent symptoms or concerns, call your pediatrician or your care team directly at (773) 217-0073.

6. Opting out — reply STOP

You can cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you send STOP, we'll send one confirmation and then stop sending you texts. To start receiving messages again, reply START.

You can also opt out from within your patient portal, or by contacting us at care@myhomecircumcision.com or (773) 217-0073.

7. Getting help — reply HELP

For help with our text messages, reply HELP to any message, email us at care@myhomecircumcision.com, or call (773) 217-0073.

8. Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Your privacy

We never sell or share your mobile number or your consent to be texted with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. For details on how we collect, use, and protect your information, see our Privacy Policy and Notice of Privacy Practices.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Text Messaging Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued participation in the text-message program after an update means you accept the revised terms.
