Who will circumcise our baby?

Are you based in Chicago?

Yes. Chicago is our home base, so this is where we have the most availability. We don't need to plan a trip around your due date the way we do in Denver or Salt Lake City.

Do you come to the suburbs too?

Yes, from the city out to the North and Northwest suburbs and the western and southern suburbs listed above. If you're on the North Shore, our North Shore page has the details for your area.

We're not Jewish. Is that okay?

Of course. Families of every faith call us, and no ceremony is required. See Can a non-Jewish family use a mohel?

Our baby was born at a Chicago hospital and wasn't circumcised there. Is it too late?

No. We usually see babies between one and four weeks old, and in most cases up to six months. Our hospital vs. home article explains the differences.

Everything is brought to your home. You'll have written aftercare guidance, and direct access to your mohel through your secure portal throughout healing.

Many of the families we care for have chosen not to have the Vitamin K injection. We don't require it, and we won't ask you to justify the decision — that's between you and your pediatrician. Rabbi Levy will review your baby's history with you beforehand.
