Can I use my HSA card to pay for the circumcision?
In most cases, yes. Circumcision is generally considered a qualified medical expense, so many families are able to use their HSA (Health Savings Account) card for payment.
That said, HSA eligibility is determined by your specific HSA provider, not by our office. We recommend confirming coverage directly with your HSA administrator if you have questions about your plan.
If your HSA provider requests documentation, we’re happy to provide a detailed medical receipt for your records.
Please note: Any HSA eligibility determination is the responsibility of the account holder. If an HSA charge is later deemed ineligible, the patient is responsible for resolving it with their HSA provider.
